JOB ADVERTISEMENTPOSITION: COMMUNICATIONS
COORDINATOR
Reporting line: Communications Associate Manager
Location: Kigali - Rwanda

Overview:
The role of the Communications Coordinator is to support the day-to-day work of
the communications team, maintain strong communications frameworks, and
maintaining the core communications functions.

Key Duties and
responsibilities:
Reporting and planning
- Prepare bi-weekly budget spend reports delineated by project (i.e. total
cost, including line-items, etc.)
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and 90 day plans, which include activities related
to delivering TORs
- Plans due: 90 day plan first week of each quarter; weekly reports due
Mondays; monthly plan due first of the month

Ni Nyampinga magazine delivery
- For each Ni Nyampinga magazine issue, the Girl Hub Rwanda team distributes to
influencers throughout Rwanda. The Communications Coordinator will be
responsible for:
* Keeping to the timetable so that magazines will be delivered to
influencers the week before general distribution
* Support the development of a creative delivery tool for the magazine
that speaks directly to the issues theme. This includes:
- Manage package production process
- Ensure package production stays within budget
* Manage distribution of magazine to influencers
- Ensure Kate approves and signs letters
- Packages complete with all components
- Manage delivery and ensure magazine reaches its intended target
- Manage delivery of magazines to Portland and London Nike Foundation/Girl Hub
offices
* For each issue, coordinate delivery of 50 Kinyarwanda issues and 50
English issues to each office
* If relevant, send Rwanda influencer packaging, letters, etc. to each
office

Calendar
- Maintain the Girl Hub Rwanda calendar
- Meet weekly with each Girl Hub Rwanda team member to ask for any calendar
updates
- Write updates on the front calendar
- Keep an updated digital copy of the calendarprovide to the Communications
Manager weekly
- Calendar events include:
* Reports due (to MoH, Pres Office, etc.)
* 12+ scale plan
* Ni Nyampinga production schedule (magazine and radio)
* School holidays, when in session, etc.
* External partner events (i.e. National Childrens Summit, etc.)
* Team member vacation / PTO
* Visitor schedules
* Relevant meetings

External stakeholder relations
- Maintain updated database of all orgs relevant to Girl Hub Rwandas work
- Maintain updated database of all Girl Hub Rwanda external relations
- Work closely with Donatha and Communications Assoc Manager to keep proactive
management of the database
- Deliverables include:
* Input Player Landscapeinto Salesforce (root)
* Ensure updated contact information for all relevant individuals kept in
database
* Ensure updated organization and individual information including bio,
organization objectives, organization about, relevant people, relevant
history, relevant relationships with other orgs
* Meet weekly with each Girl Hub Rwanda team member to check in on any
external meetings
* Update SalesForce information to include: Date of meeting/encounter,
meeting participants, topline outcomes

Event support
- Support the Communications and Brand team to execute events
- Terms developed per specific event

Ad hoc support
- Manage printing as needed
- Support the communications team for unforeseen needs

Essential skills and
experience:
- Exemplary written and oral Kinyarwanda and English
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledgeable about Rwandan influencer landscape
- Self-motivating and starting - Proactive
- At least 2 years of communications experience
- Ability to work in diverse team
- BA degree required, preferred in language-intense and/or communications
fields
- Record of work in E. Africa/Rwanda and/or teens preferred
- Strong sense of Ni Nyampinga teen spirit, history of bringing to life teen
spirit

than most other business activities. Automotive rapid prototyping greatly

automotive design cycles require an extremely fast prototyping system which can
produce car parts fast and inexpensively.

automotive product behaves in its natural working environment, before
transferring the prototype to the production line. Many times, mistakes are
learned only after a new automotive part is launched. This is the main
explanation for poor automotive parts design, from product mismatch, poor
engineering and function or finish, and overpriced production. In order to
accelerate the learning curve, before these costly automotive prototyping
mistakes are made, one must accelerate and facilitate feedback loops from tests
in the lab and market trials.
Automotive Manufacturing Technologies

Working with an assortment of rapid prototyping equipment, automotive
prototyping engineers utilize the most advanced 3D printers, in their quest for
perfect form, function and utility. Working in advanced manufacturing centers,
the automotive engineers use the technology to verify what they are doing, and,
equally important, to save tremendous amounts of time, and money.
Automotive Rapid Prototyping Compresses Development Time
The advantages of 3D rapid prototyping model creation versus viewing a cad/cam
model on a computer screen is palpable. Automotive parts engineers get together
discuss the pros and cons of a rapidly produced automotive parts model and
discuss the pros and cons of the design, as they pass it around, twisting and
viewing the prototype, and decide if that is what they had in mind. This way,
problems get solved up front, before going to the assembly line! Once determined
that the automotive prototype design is a go, the model can then be sent to a
die maker.


Automotive Prototyping and the Die Maker Process

The die maker cannot use model to make the die, but because they have it in
their hand and can look at it and feel it, they can determine where the parting
lines will be and exactly how much steel they will need to produce it. The
timing of the die process is greatly compressed.

Intake manifold atau leher angsa sudah banyak variasi nya di speedshop terdekat.
Ada yang modelnya mirip standar nya, ada yang bagus berbentuk ¼
lingkaran. Perbedaannya bisa juga dari arah moncong karburator menghadap kemana,
atau tingkat kehalusan dinding dalamnya.

Ciri intake manifold yang bagus ialah sebagai berikut:

1. Dinding bagian dalam halus
Agar CFM maksimal, intake manifold haruslah dibuat halus (jika perlu di chrome).
Seperti merek KOSO ataupun KTC, dll., kualitas barangnya memang sudah baik dari
segi bahan maupun performa. Untukmengakaliintake standar, kita
harusmemaksimalkan intake dengan caramodifikasi. Gunakan ampelas halus untuk
menghilangkan kulit jeruknya dan ubahtekukanintake dengan lem besi.



2. Arah intake tidak membuat karburator menabrak
Biasanya, intake manifold KW-Series hanya memendekkan intake manifoldnya dan
mengubaharah-nyakurang lebih 90 sehingga akan membentur body. Saat ini sudah ada
pilihan rotary intake seperti gambar paling atas yang sudut putarnya bebas kita
tentukan.

3. Dapat dipasang adapter seperti rubber manifold
Pasti bingung ketika intake standar punya 2 lubang baut akan dipasang karburator
tipe lingkaran (ex: Keihin PE, PWK, PWM, Mikuni TM series). Intake yang baik
dapat dengan mudah dipasang kan adapter sebagai media penyambung karbu dengan
intake nya.


4. Punya lubang venturi yang sama dengan karburatornya
Ketika lubang intake lebih kecil dari venturi karburatornya, akan banyak terjadi
tabrakan molekul udara. Jangan kaget ketika bensin mendadak boros dan ada embun
air di sekitar body karburator. Lebih baik jika lubang intake sama dengan karbu
atau aman jika lebih besar ketimbang lebih kecil.

Job Profile

Administer questionnaire by using PDA to collect hygiene related data
consistently and reliable manner by using various instruments;
Review data collection instruments for accuracy and completeness;
Prompt identification and communication of operational difficulties in the field
to supervisor, particularly issues surrounding questionnaire and data
solicitation;
Jointly work with Field Research Officer(s) and Research Investigator with PDA
data Management of the collected data;
Develop a list of enrolled households.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in any discipline with good academic records;
3 years experience in the relevant field;
Ability to identify field difficulties, particularly regarding administration
and respondents understanding of questionnaires;
Ability to communicate various issues clearly to the team;
Ability to address participants concerns regarding written informed consent;
Ability to identify problems with data collection measures;
Must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;
Ability to brainstorm solutions to field challenges as they arise and work with
team in achieving problem resolutions;
Should maintain confidentiality while dealing with research data;
Prior exposure in data collection/ research in Water Sanitation project would be
preferred;
Ability to handle PDA/smart phone for data collection would be required;
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
